Joseph Yazdanpanahi, MBA and Certified Public Manager (CPM), is a proven leader and Forney resident ready to serve on City Council Place 4.

Joseph was formerly Forney’s Director of IT, assisting in managing over $250 million in capital improvement projects. Prior to that, he assisted Sunnyvale, TX, in starting their first-ever police and IT departments from scratch. Joseph has worked in the trenches reducing costs and winning awards for three different cities in East Texas, earning national recognition for excellence and transparency.

Now as a full-time entrepreneur, Joseph founded IPGOV, LLC for municipal consulting; is founder and CEO of Tall Timbers Properties and Self Storage in Tyler, and has experience in managing multi-million dollar budgets. He earned a degree in economics and a master’s in business from UT Tyler.
